COMMUNITY APPLICATION COMPENSATION & PAYOUTS

Our Compensation Program is set up so that by contributing content, you not only help small businesses in Japan, but also share in the revenue that you help to generate through our Readership Incentives. In addition, Ambassadors (upon request) are also eligible for discounts to products sold by mLatte Partners.

Requested articles: We will be posting requests for articles on specific topics in the Ambassador Community according to the content strategy for each specific partner site.
Proposed articles: We encourage you however to propose your own topics for articles.

Ambassador Compensation

We are currently revising our compensation structure to account for article difficulty as well as bonus payouts for articles that bring traffic to our clients’ websites. $100+ per article is possible!

Notes

• Compensation for photographs, designs and other non-article contributions will be determined on a case-by-case basis and are also eligible for the below Readership Incentives if posted on a site as its own article.
• Payment is contingent upon publication not submission

Readership Incentives

Utilizing the AddThis tool, visitors to each of our Partner’s websites will be able to click on a Facebook “Like” button, a “Tweet” button, a Google+ button, and dozens of other social media and social bookmarking sites. As your article accumulates shares, you will become eligible for a series of bonuses. Articles may also be posted on multiple sites at our discretion allowing you to accumulate “shares” faster.

• Total bonus: US$50 / 4000 yen per article
• These incentives may be adjusted as we determine the correlation with actual revenue.

Payouts

• Ambassadors are considered freelance contractors, and upon acceptance into the program will need to consent to a Participation Agreement. Ambassadors outside of Japan may be required to submit a U.S. tax form upon participation.
• Ambassadors may choose to receive payments by check or PayPal (PayPal is recommended for those outside the U.S.). Ambassadors living in Japan may choose to receive their payments via standard bank transfer.
• Minimum payout is US$100 or 10,000 yen for those in Japan.
• Payouts are made at the end of every even month (Feb., Apr., June, etc.) or upon request as long as the minimum payout amount is met.
